Bismillah, Assalamualaikum :)
did u know that as the years go by, we are actually getting near to our deathbed?!
so it's ironic that every year, people celebrate rather than reflect back on that year...

my reflections are too many, hope it's the same with all my readers because when we reflect, it adds meaning and depth to what we have done throughout the year.
it's okay to make new year resolutions based on the reflections because we do not want to repeat our past mistakes and we must always strive to be so much better than who we were before this in all aspects :)
for the year 2008, i would like to be:
1. like all the usual stuffs that every day i try to renew-> be a devout muslimah, solehah daughter, excellent student, understanding friend, avid reader, ardent blogger and try to be someone whose words can touch people out there :)
2. like the unusual stuffs that are-> i just wanna try to be unusual physically [more pingpong!], emotionally [forgiving and no matter how hard, forgetting~], spiritually [so many things i want to memorize, the Quran, all the heartfelt doa's and hadith], intellectually [read more and think really out of the box!].

(you know who you are, we talked at the college hall when we both were taking a break from being in charge of the registration for the new students. you said all kinds of things regarding the new year and you inspired me to write about it. you disapprove all the celebrations and you say that you were actually scared because the new year means death is so near).

P.S:
the picture is from my juniors, the three of them are fellow JMK, they like to tease my asadi crocs bought from Giant only, that sometimes i wear when going to the JMK room. i know it's bright orange but somehow the ciplak crocs look so cute i just cannot NOT wear em! hey, i know when not to embaress myself ok :p

ahah firstly,, yes la of kos la can say happy new year, u. and why are people despising new year so much eh these days? its like, having an all new year is a catastrophe je. tapi kalau dah ppl celebrate melampau2 tu mmg kite disagree habis2an la.
thank god mase mlm new yr tu penang island tak capsize.. haha. yela kan dah org dah melompat2, berkonsert2 bagai.. takut la kalau satu pulau tenggelam terus. huhuu..
