Exam Over & Done With!

Bismillah, Assalamualaikum Myspace Icons

Initially I wrote a post entitled Exam Nearly Over and wanted to just write about anything but then I looked at the bundles of notes on Reflection in the Teaching & Learning of ESL and I knew I couldn't just waste time but memorize all those facts, data & theories for the last examination of my life as a degree student.

and then 28th April 2009 came and went and it was...

EXHILARATING~

If exhilarating means to make somebody feel happy, excited, and more than usually vigorous and alive then I certainly do feel it!

BUT...

Is it just me or even though the relief sweeps in but there's almost always that niggling feeling at the back of the mind or in the far corner of the heart that says, yes, exam is over but how did I really do?

some people procrastinate,
some start early,
some stayed up until the wee hours of the night,
some study when the sun rises,
some memorize word by word,
some people actually try to make sense of the whole thing
some need to drink coffee
some snack away while reading
some colour their notes (like me!)
some just prefer to underline the important points
some listen to music
some need that noise
some put on those headphones to block away the surroundings
some lie down while reading
some puts their legs up
some need study group
some prefer to study alone
some have to speak aloud
some mutter even in their sleep
some read that sentence again and again
and still fail to understand
but others just geddit just like that
and some decides not to study at all
because we're all gonna end up being a teacher anyway
hmm
me?
I study like mad
and left being discontented
but at the end of the day
I remember
that as you sow so shall you reap

The saying comes from a bible but in Islam, Allah will give you what you worked for and that's something everyone has to constantly remember in which I always tell myself, you will certainly get what you deserve but God is ever so kind, sometimes the rezeki comes when you least expect it ^_^

So that Allah will turn off from them (even) the worst in their deeds and give them their reward according to the best of what they have done.
Az-Zumar [39:35]

I dedicate this piece from the Holy Quran for you JUNIORS who still have a looooong way to go, don't agonize over the little things because yes, you're still young and make those inevitable mistakes, we all do but don't give in and don't give up and keep going, because you always have that finishing line waiting for you~

On a birthday note,
Happy Birthday to both of my coursemates, Kamarul Ariffin [25 April] & Hannani [26 April]

For Nani, since she loves cupcakes so much

birthday didn't taste and smell like birthday at all coz i'm deeply endorsed in notes and articles to read for exam.

however, i've postponed my bday to 30th april. hahaha (mengarut kan?)

well, what's the fuss anyway, rezeki tu ada lah kot
still, i worry more bout postings and the life after graduation and leaving studies and putting on effort in careers.
just the thought of it made me seram sejuk..
